Annual BBQ Fundraiser 2026

Dear Friends and Supporters,

For many years, our annual Compassion 365 BBQ has been a special tradition—a time to come together as a community, celebrate lives being changed, and raise funds to support families facing hardship.

This year, we’ve made the difficult decision not to hold our annual BBQ fundraiser. Due to a wrist and shoulder injury, I need to take the time to heal so I can continue serving our community well.

While we’ll miss gathering with you this year, one thing has not changed:

Families in our community still need help.

In fact, the need is growing.

Today, more than 123 families are looking to Compassion 365 for support. Behind every number is a story—a parent wondering how to put food on the table, a child needing school supplies to start the year with confidence, or a newcomer family trying to build a new life in Canada.

Because of generous supporters like you, we’re able to provide:

  • Nutritious food and groceries for families in crisis
  • School supplies and backpacks for children, especially newcomer families
  • Clothing and essential household items
  • Thanksgiving meals and seasonal support
  • Practical assistance that restores hope and dignity
  • Every gift reminds a family that they are not alone.

Our Goal: $15,000

Although the BBQ won’t happen this year, the work of Compassion 365 continues every day.

That’s why we’re inviting you to join our Compassion 365 $100 Challenge.

If 150 people give $100, together we will reach our goal of $15,000—enough to continue providing practical support to the 123 families currently seeking assistance through Compassion 365.

If $100 isn’t possible, please don’t let that stop you.
A gift of $25 provides groceries for a family.
A gift of $50 helps provide school supplies or clothing for a child.
A gift of $100 or more helps us respond to families facing urgent needs.
Every gift—regardless of the amount—makes a real and lasting difference.

Multiply Your Impact
Would you consider inviting someone else to join you?

Share the $100 Challenge with your family, friends, coworkers, church, or community group. Together, our individual acts of generosity can create extraordinary change.

Host Your Own Mini Fundraiser
Since we won’t be hosting our BBQ this year, perhaps you’d consider organizing a small fundraiser on behalf of Compassion 365.

Whether it’s a coffee morning, a workplace dress-down day, a garage sale, a birthday fundraiser, a church event, or something completely unique, we’d love to partner with you. Every fundraiser—large or small—helps bring hope to families who need it most.

If you’d like ideas or support, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

One Story of Hope
Recently, a single mother came to Compassion 365 feeling overwhelmed and unsure how she would provide for her family. Through the generosity of donors like you, we were able to provide food, clothing, and practical support during a very difficult season. More than meeting physical needs, she left knowing that someone cared and that she wasn’t facing life’s challenges alone.

This is the kind of impact your generosity makes possible.
Thank you for believing in the mission of Compassion 365.
Thank you for standing with families during some of the hardest moments of their lives.
Thank you for helping us remind people that hope is never out of reach.

Although we won’t gather around the BBQ this year, together we can continue changing lives.
With heartfelt gratitude,

Anna Rossi

Black Fly Beverage Company, Ontario’s first micro-distillery was founded in 2005 by husband & wife Rob Kelly and Cathy Siskind-Kelly after being awarded the first Distillery License granted in Ontario in over 100 years.

The vision was to create MORE NATURAL and LESS SWEET premium spirit beverages using quality ingredients and innovative packaging. Like the iconic Canadian insect after which the company is named, Black Fly started small with determination to fly under the radar and deliver a mighty bite. Since that time, Black Fly has successfully developed and launched a lineup of unique premium spirit beverages that speak to what today’s consumers are looking for; innovative “NOT TOO SWEET” quality drinks.

Originally housed in an historic bank building in the heart of downtown London, Ontario, Black Fly Beverage Company moved its operation in May of 2008 to a state-of-the-art production facility located in the city’s leading industrial quarter. Today Black Fly continues its tradition of developing and producing premium spirit beverages for Canadian markets and beyond.

I would like to encourage everyone to put in an effort to raise a little something in pledges this year. If everyone raised a little bit it adds up very quickly.

Here is an example – 200 players x $50 = $10,000, 250 players x $50 = $12,500.

As you can see it doesn’t take that much to make a big difference.
Please keep this in mind as you get ready for the tournament. You can print the pledge form below. Tax receipts will be issued for donations over $10.00.
